It Caught on Fire

Can you guess what this is?

It is something that caught on fire.

We are talking like towering inferno, hellfire and brimstone kinda flames.

It is something that I didn't know was quite so flammable.

It is the only thing Cody requested for his birthday.

And when it caught on fire, I think Cody was this close (imagine me pinching my fingers together) to crying.

But luckily I had enough to make a second batch, which I didn't catch on fire.

Oh, and these are no-bake treats.

They are Peanut Butter Squares.

I am gonna guess that you have never caught chocolate chips on fire, either. All it takes is putting it up next to the broiler in the oven and forgetting about it.
It could happen to anyone. . . right?

I would have had no idea if you hadn't told us what they were. Glad you were able to recover with new ones. Sounds yummy.

That's pretty funny! Good thing you had ingredients to make more. I know why Cody was almost crying...those are soooo yummy. I have your recipe. :)

I think Mike would have almost cried too. He loves PB. I'll have to get that recipe from you. Do remember the cake I made that ate a hole in the metal pan? Or did I never tell you about that?

i'm so glad you had extra, because that would have been so sad for cody.

When I saw this picture, I thought those were charred black beans all over the top. I'm glad you had enough to make more peanut butter squares though ;)

who am i you ask? i am what i am. the question should not be why lawson but why not lawson?
1. it's a great name.
2. it's not a common name. how many lawsons do you know?
3. it's a name with historic value.

nephi is also a great name. just think how many people will be introduced to the gospel because of his name. every non-member will ask where the name came from then you and he (when he gets a little older) can explain who nephi son of lehi was.

i noticed one of you readers likes the name nephi. i wonder how your other readers would vote on these 2possible names.

anonymous, you are totally dad. That's gonna be a no on Nephi.

I'm amazed that I haven't ever tried your recipe because I love peanut butter and chocolate combos. Maybe you can make some for us in a month or so :)

Wait so were these nobake cookies? And you were trying to melt the chocolate chips?
Well, anyways I'm surprised you had enough ingredients to make 2 batches...I know I never do.

Wow! Did the dish explode?!? It sure looks like it! How in the world did you get the pan out of the oven with all those flames?
