February 1st

So today is the start of February and you all know how much I love Valentines day- mostly because we get to decorate in RED and PINK. Love it.

So I pulled out my valentines decoration box and this was it.

Hardly anything. Nothing would better describe it. So now that I have reconnected with my crafting side I decided to make some hand made decorations, because my house needs it. So for the last few days I have been busy making some fun stuff. And I put it all inside a Valentine Box.

Oh, yeah. Today is my 100th post!!!! So it only took me a year and a half, but whatever. I finally made it. And one of the reasons I love blogging so much is the interaction I get with you, the reader. So to celebrate. . . wait for it. . . I am doing a give away. WHAT?? I know you mind is reeling that I would actually do something interactive on my blog. But you deserve it. Thanks for sticking with me through a 100 drawn out posts. The give away is the Valentine Box, but more importantly, it's the cool stuff inside to help you get ready for Valentine's Day. Just leave a comment and you will be entered into the drawing. You have until Saturday night at Midnight, EST to comment. You only need to comment once. Thanks again!

Oh, Happy Groundhogs Day tomorrow!

Congrats on the 100th post. I look forward to the next 100. I am way impressed that you are a crafter...I am so not crafty, my homemade things definetely look homemade, (by a five year old!)

I have loved every one of your 100 posts. You are such a great writer Brooke, and of course you are hilarious, which makes for the perfect blog!

The box looks fantastic. Put my name in the hat!

I always love reading your posts, but having an extra incentive makes it just that much better! Isn't it fun to rediscover something you love to do and then actually do it?! I am still trying to rediscover something that I love - I guess I'll keep looking.

Ohhhh...a box of V-day goodies from creative Brooke! Put my name in! I haven't been blogging for all 100 posts, but the ones I have been around for have been just great.

Brooke, you are the cutest. I told some coworkers about your little give-away, and they even said you were "so domestic." So, there you go, you're domestic. I kind of feel wierd commenting on a give away post, but I happen to be really excited to see what you came up with! Did you ink your edges?

well, I would get my hopes up but you actually have like 25 friends who read and comment regularly so I will just hope and pray.

Whoo hoo.... brooke you are becoming so "bloggerish". :)

Did I mention I want my name in that hat? Better throw Tara's in too, she loves your posts as well and has had the misfortune of not being able to read them at the moment. She is BC (between computers) right now. :0

Throw my name in the hat. I don't have any decorations at all for Valentines, so I'm in desperate need of the box (because I'm so needy, will that give me an advantage in the drawing?????). I've also loved ever 100 posts. Keep them coming.

Congrats, what a great idea and your box looks great by the way! If it helps my chances any...Justin and I met on Feb 1st! I'll post more about that on my blog, but I so enjoy reading your postings and insights. Thanks Brooke for sharing yourself with all of us! :-)

Red and pink are so cheerful together! But unless it's V-day or your Strawberry Shortcake it's a big no-no. I remember my mom teaching me that bit of fashion advice when I was four.

Congratulations on your 100th blog! I love to read it and wanted you to know.

oh, pick me, pick me!! Your blog has been 100% awesome, 100% funny, 100% well written, 100% of 100 posts. What an excellent milestone. I can't wait to see what the next 100 posts brings us. Probably more laughter, more cute pics of the cute gals, more crafty ideas, more redneck stories, more cleverness. I can't wait.

100! Dang girl! You are much better than I! Yesterday was the one year anniversary of me starting to blog and I only have 45. I'll just have to work harder. Maybe a valentines box would motivate me. :)

Hi Brooke... you remember me, right? So I've never commented on your blog... but that doesn't mean I haven't read from time to time. You just write such funny stuff! Maybe if you didn't write so well, I wouldn't have to stalk your blog! (I especially enjoy the hunting ones. Sadly, I know exactly what you are talking about every time you write about your husband and his hunting stuff... help me! I could NOT stop laughing at the post with your daughter in the camo shirt! Way too funny!) Anyway, don't hate me because the first time that I comment on your blog happens to be when you're doing a giveaway. Sorry for the huge comment.

I love the give away idea...and I love home made decorations! I bought a ton of chipboard on E-Bay and have some fun ideas for Valentines Day...maybe we should have a craft night!

Sign me up, baby! I'll take anything handmade by the talented Brooklyn. :) Congrats on your 100th post. I hope they keep coming with increasing frequency. Yours is one the few blogs that I just have to check every day. And it's usually with great anticipation that I hope for another of your hilarious, gut-busting stories. You are a great writer.

I want a box of Brooke stuff!

Congratulations on 100 posts! You are the blogger that inspired me to create my blog, and for that I am so happy. Make sure you post pics of everything in the box. That way if I don't win, I can at least copy your ideas.

I got it "99 red balloons" because that was post 99. took me awhile. I thought of it this afternoon over lunch. genius!

Okay, I will put all your names in a hat, apparently, and draw out one special name to get my homemade crap! And yes, Libby, there is some inking of the edges involved!

And Rachel, hot dog, you're smart- the one and only to figure out that obscure reference.

Pick me? OK, I know I'm 3 hours and 45 minutes past the deadline, but I realized in the middle of the night that I forgot to comment, so can I get extra credit for getting out of bed at 3 am just for your giveaway?

I'm too late! Can I get a note from my Dr? It's genuine! How do you know when you've posted 100 times? I heard there is only a limited space on these things, is that true?

Gina said...

Oh I am bugged! How did I miss out on this?! I should have checked more ofter :( Congrats on the 100th!

Brooke, missing this is my punishment for not keeping up with your blog. Are you going to be doing this every year? I'm looking forward to it. :)
