Down by the old New Jersey Shore. . .
Mostly, Morgan did this:

though she did have some minor technical difficulties
but don't worry- mom is a pro!

seeing fields full of fire flies
grilled squash
running in the waves with Claire and Morgan
watching the fire works
ice cream on the board walk

oops, I didn't mean to click the garbage can. Anyway, that looks like tons of fun. I loved the picture of Cody helping Claire golf with Morgan on his back. He totally looks like a Mr. mom. How cute! And I laughed out loud at the pic. of claire having technical difficulties! :)
p.s. Have you ever seen Little Women? Because the other night our family was watching it and we all thought one of the actors was you. Has anyone ever told you that you look like Winona Ryder, but prettier? because you do.
I think I really want to live on the East Coast after hearing of all your fun adventures!
Those pictures of Claire running in the waves are so stinking cute. It looks like she is having the time of her life! And I love Claire's sand mermaid. So fun!
I'm also super impressed with how fast her hair has grown since she cut it last winter. It's looking very pretty!
Okay, when did Morgan suddenly turn into a mini Claire? She is looking so much more like her big sister to me in these pictures.

I saw "Wild Hearts Can't be Broken" on tv the other day, and that song has been stuck in my head ever since. Especially the "down by the old New Jersey shore" part. Anyway, you have had some pretty darn fun looking vacations this year. Way to go.
I have never taken my kiddos miniature golfing before, but I bet they would love it like Claire did, even with all the technical difficulties.

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. The beach is always a great place to stay cool in the heat. You look great Brooke. I'm tempted to say "you're so lucky" but I know it doesn't have much to do with luck, but with good eating habits and exercise. I'm counting down the days until I get to see you.

What a fun little trip! Where did you stay? Do you know people out there? Can't wait for all our trips to the beach! Too bad you can't come to NC with us, that would've been way fun.
Okay, I love the mermaid tail and the chubby little cherub face grinning at me in that first picture. The golfing "technical difficulties" are awesome! And Brooke, you look fantastic!! So dang skinny, my friend! What's your secret?
